Hydro Excavation, or daylighting, is an effective alternative for digging where heavy machinery is not practical or even unsafe. Conventional methods such as backhoes and bulldozers can damage underground utilities, cause potential injury to operators , delays to construction or industrial projects, and costly fines for contractors.
High pressure water is used to break up the soil, while a high-powered vacuum source is engaged to lift out the soil without damaging or disrupting buried fiber-optic lines, cables, or utility pipes.
Clean Earth Environmental's Hydro-Vacuum Excavation service will minimize costly incidents involving pipeline damage and worker safety.
Clean Earth Environmental’s hydro excavation team uses pressurized water and high-volume vacuum trucks to dig holes or clear areas and remove the water and soil. Our operators can select optimum pressures for digging through clay, rocky soil, or even frozen earth without damaging buried utilities or harming underground process lines. Removed soil can be transported and dumped off-site, or offloaded on-site for backfill purposes or your own disposition.
Contact Clean Earth today to discover how we can lower your excavation costs while preserving the safety of your personnel and keeping your project on schedule!
Clean Earth Utilizes Hydro-Vacuum Excavation to Expose Utilities for:
Clean Earth Environmental can complete Hydro-Vacuum Excavation projects in remote sites, where the truck unit is far from the work area.
A controlled flow, high-pressure low-volume water stream allows for surgeon-like accuracy. This process removes only the amount of material necessary for repair or inspection. Minimal material needs to be removed when compared with the large, less-than-accurate excavator or back hoe bucket, and the danger of damaging the pipes or utilities is almost completely eliminated.
